GENTING HIGHLAND

Genting Highland has the most popular theme parks. And I was so happy that I had a chance to visit Genting Highland.
On the day that we would leave, I just spent a short time to pack, it was a simple pack, but we had to bring the UNIMAP T-shirt and a jacket.

We took bus to Genting Highland, and I thought bus was a time-killer. after a long distance, we arrived in Genting Highland.
Originally, we could take the cable car, but finally, we still took bus, oh! What a pity! You know, taken cable car was exciting.

When we got our free time, we ran to the outdoor theme park as quickly as possible, but you know, the line was always too long, so we spent a long time to wait. But it didn’t kill our enthusiasm. All the people were so happy that time.

After a short break at the afternoon, we began to play in the indoor theme park, actually, the whole indoor park would be more nice at nice because the colorful lights opened, but we didn’t have time to enjoyed the indoor theme park at night, because the dinner cost a long precious time.

We finished our trip in Genting Highland in a hurry. And we didn’t enjoyed the trip completely. Next time, I don’t want to follow the teachers to go to Genting Highland, because I want to try more games, even the casino.

SNAKE FARM

Today we visit the snake farm with Vice-Chancellor and some teachers. It was a wonderful trip.

We went there by bus at 10 o'clock and when I saw the poster on the wall, I felt excited. Actually, I don't really like snakes, but this was the first time that I can approach them by myself, it really made me happy.

In China, I have played with real animals for several times, but I haven't played with this kind of perilous animal.

When we came into the hall, there was a lady with a big snake around her body, most of my friends felt so sacred, but some of them closed to that lady and tried to do the same thing like her. They put a snake on their body. LOOK! I did it also.

When I touched the snake's skin, it was very soft and covered squama.You know, snake is not the same as some other animals such as cats, dogs. It is cold-blooded animal, and when you touched it, you would feel cold through your fingers.

Look at this, this is one of the dangerous snakes in the world.It called cobra, the snake lady told us when cobra felt danger around itself, it would stand its body and made some voice to gally the others.

This is the venom from cobra. It was said that these venom can kill more than 20 people in 2 minutes. What's more, it also can kill an elephant in 3 hours.

We also saw the snake ate a chicken. First, the snake would entwine the chicken with its long body, more and more tight. Then, when snake felt that the chicken has no heart-throb, it would start to eat it.

PIANO

For me, music is a part of my life. I had lived with music for about 15 years, so music is also one of my family member.
There are many instruments that i like, but the best one are electronic organ and piano. I've studied them for more than 12 years. At that time I got the high level in these two instrument exams and also got some diplomas in the competitions.
I still remember that time I went to Beijing to particiapte a piano competition. I flew there by myself when I was 14 years old. And when I back to my hometown, I brought a big cup that I won in that competition. Actually, my parents didn't believe that, because I didn't practice it very hard.
The deep feeling that I will never forget is the time that I was standing on the stage, before playing, I was so stressed out and my legs never stopped to tremble. but when I began to play, all the tensity disappered and I really enjoyed playing piano. After that competition, I gradually found that showing songs to others is a very nice thing.
But now, I've not practiced it for a long time and I'm sure I'm not as well as past.but I still love it so much.

last Sunday, my friends and I went to PENANG to buy the air tickets...

this is the best object that I bought in MALAYSIA and after that I can go back to my hometown and see my parents, my friends and foods foods foods!!...hahahaa..a..a.. so happy these days...

I'm sure that is my excepted and I think I don't need to recommend my friends to buy it because I believe all of my friends will buy it in a short time.

this was the 4th time I go to penang and this time I have knew more about penang. so I would never take a taxi to anywhere and I can take buses to somewhere instead.
It also can help me save some money ...

In the last week, except foods, I just bought the air ticket.so I think ..that's all!

February 14th is a special day for every one and it is also important for me. but that day, my friends and I enjoyed a special Valentine's day in this foreign country.
We got up so late in the morning and have a rush breakfast. After we done that, we were beginning to make a plan for the Valentine's day.
First, we have spent a long time to walk to the Pizza Hut have a lunch together.
Then, two of my friends wanted to have a hair cut, may be it would take a long time.
Next, we would walk down the street, maybe it was evening.
Finally,we would buy some junk foods from KFC and back to KKA. while we were eating the last meal in our hostel, we can also watch some movies at the same time.
After finished these plans.we started to let them come true.
In fact, we really enjoyed the special Valentine's day with each other and I really want to do that again with my friends.

Chinese New Year

As we know, Chinese calendar changes every years and it was said that it follows the changes of moon.like the Christmas in the western countries,the Spring Festival is the most important festival in China.
Of course, we have 12 animals to present the different 12 years.like this year, we called OX year in China.the old people always tell us--the young people some stories about those 12 animals.
And i was born in the horse year.
this is the first time that i celebrate the Spring Festival in a foreign country. but it also left me a lot of warm memories.
In China, that day we will spend all day to prepare a great feast for the whole family. it is the happiest time for me because i can enjoy a lot of delicious food that day.
In Malaysia, on that day, we spent a little time in KKA to cook some traditional foods, simple but nice.
Although i was not in China,but i received a lot of wishes from my parents, friends,even the friends from the other countries which makes me so surprise.
In my opinion,the celebration here is so quiet. but in our hostel we hung some lanterns and some couplet.it is our traditional.

Today is the last day of the spring festival it called Lantern Festival. in China, we eat "Yuan Xiao".

When it comes this topic, I would be very excited but a bit bemused. you know there are many famous historical moments and it is very hard to make a definite list of those historical events in China. Of course, there are also many constructions which help us remember that period of that history.

CHINESE KUNG FU

Nowadays, you can often find the Chinese Kung Fu in the action movie, apart from Chinese movie. In fact, Chinese Kung Fu came from the temples in the south China.At that time, Kung Fu is used to contribute directly to monks' physical fitness. Gradually, It developed a kind of sports like swimming and so on.

THE QIN EMPEROR

The Qin Dynasty is well known for beginning the Great Wall of China, which was later augmented and enhanced during the Ming Dynasty.Qin Emperor is the first emperor in China and maybe the greatest one. During the time he was in the throne, he did a lot of things to develop his empire. before he made the six countries get together, there were a lot of wars between these countries. All of the leaders wanted the throne so they never stop fighting each other. After Qin Emperor making an unique, there were no fighting for a long time, and people at that time enjoyed their life and very hard working. but actually, every person has two sides one is good and another is bad. so is he, when he got older, he was not as wise as before, during that time, he did a lot of bad things that made some bad effects until today.

CONFUCIUS

Confucius was one of the world's famous and the most philosophers and teachers who taught the important of moral principles for both rules and individuals. He told that we should not do to others what we would not do to ourselves.

Let me tell you a famous person in China Wen Jiabao who is the Prime Minister of China.I'm sure most of Chinese know him and like him very much.

Everybody knows the destructibility earthquake in Sichuan last year and a large number of people died. At that time, Wen Jiabao was the first politician who came to Sichuan quickly and inspected by himself. In fact, he walked to dangerous spots for several times and really stood in dangerous, but he had never been a quitter. that scene moved a lot of people around the world.

He didn't leave there until most of the survivors are rescued. During that time, not only he companied with them, but did control the spot. These days i also found a lot of praises of him on Internet.actually when it had a serious disaster , he was always a first politician who rushed to the disaster areas.

A man from the State of Zheng was going to buy himself a pair of shoes. Before he left for the market, he measured his feet with a piece of string. He cut the string to match the size of his foot. Then he got dressed and set off for the market.

It was quite a long walk.when he arrived the shoes store, it was almost noon and he spent a long time to find a beautiful pair of shoes that he really loved..because there were so many kinds of nice shoes. he looked it again and again with smelling . And finally he chose this pair that he liked very much. he wanted to measure them against the string to make sure the size was right. He turned every pocket inside out. The string was not there. He had forgotten to bring it!

"How forgetful I am" he thought "I'll have to go back to fetch it"

Then he came to his house and grabbed it and ran back to the market as fast as his legs could carry him.By the time he got there, the shop was closed. He stared at his string, looking forlorn.

"If only I had brought the string the first time!" he said.
A passer-by heard him and asked,

Christmas Day

Last week, we went to langkawi to celebrate Christmas Day. we arrived there in Dec. 26th, one day after Christmas Day. because we had trouble in booking some rooms on Christmas day.
When we got down the ferry. I found there was different from Perlis. so many kinds of shopping malls, a lot of people especially foreign visitors. we took taxi to cenang beach and checked in our hotel . it was a special hotel like homestay. we lived in a log cabin and when you opened the door, you can see the beach in front of you. at night i was sleeping with the sound of the ocean.
Actually, we went langkawi not only celebrate the festival. but that day was my best friend's birthday, we wanted to make a birthday party on beach. that night, we bought more than 200 candles and made a big heart shape on the beach when they were lighted, all of the faces were lighted.It was so nice and all the people saw that joined us. we sang the birthday songs and ate the big cake together. we enjoyed ourselves whole night.
I'm sure that a special Christmas Day for all of us.Although there was no Christmas trees, no snows, but full of happiness, that was enough.

FLOOD

There is no denying the fact that flood is really a serious problem in our world.
Normally, flood is caused due to the drastic changes in the environment conditions caused by mankind such as excessive logging which leads to heavy rains’ accumulation. Quite a number of people suffer from this disaster each year, even some of them die from it. Many problems occur because of flood, such as outbreak of disease and shortage of food supplies. Flood will also lead to a change of conditions, for example, landslides which can destroy plantations and livestock.There are many measures that can be used to protect the environment from this disaster. First, we should try our best to re-plant trees. We should always ensure that rubbish and other waste materials are not thrown into rivers and lakes. These are some of the methods to overcome the flood problem.
All in all, if we are blind to this point and can not take strong measures to deal with if, human beings will pay much more heavy prices in the future.

It was said that friendship is creating between mates. whatever the common destination is people gather together and fight together. the more they stay together the more they know each other the closer they become.
As me with my bests friends.During the time when we prepared the IELTS test, at that time , I was poor in English and very introverted. so I didn't accept any help from others.But after meeting these two person who became my closer friends later. There were something changed.
They really helped me a lot and they made a great way to improve my English. from time to time, they hadn't stopped to help me at all. gradually, i became more and more outgoing and like to talk to others anywhere. my English improved obviously with their help. i 'm sure i can not use English much better now without them. i feel so thankful because of them. they let me change a lot.Of course become much more better than before....

Weekend Wonder

When it comes this topic..i will be very happy. I really like weekend anywhere. It is the best time that I can do quite a few things that I really want.
Before I came here, I was just a high school student in China, you know ,as a student in high school,we have less time to have fun on weekends.at that time ,it just has only one thing that i really wanted to do is sleeping more, of course.but actually for middle school students there is a apparent difference.they always have a lot of time to play on weekends.For me,when I was in middle school,I really had a lot of time can enjoy myself on weekends.but I prefer to visit my grandparents ,because they always cook a lot of food for me that time.And all kinds of food that they cooked are very delicious.Maybe sometimes i also spend weekends with my friends.
After middle school.I became .I started to like spend time with myself, sometimes on weekends, after classes, i usually play piano or do some reading at home,maybe sometimes drink a cup of coffee all the afternoon. i really enjoy it.
If I could take a weekend anywhere in Perlis.I think I want to do a lot of things but in practice i just have less place to go like supermarket,library.you know Perlis is a good place to study,because you can see there have no amusement almost.so i just want to stay in the hostel on weekends..

Everybody has seen a movie that he or she will remember for a long time. Personally speaking,i think movie is a successful invention for people to kill their free time. I also like seeing movies.and i like movies too.there are so many reasons that i love them.but the important is the movie should be successful in my opinion , i think if the movie is successful , it might contains these things.

First of all. The story that the movie wants to tell you usually very interesting or really attracts you a lot..so sometime a sorrowful movie can earn more tears and then this movie will keep in your mind for a long time... i think it is a special feeling .just like when you finish a cup of coffee the flavor still in your mouth.of course, good felling i think.

Next,you know,the important thing that a successful movie should be is the wonderful spectacle.for example Titanic,i still remember in the movie.there are a lots of different perfect spectacles like the ship ,the sea and a large crowd.these things make the movie more spectacularity .

Finally,when it comes movies,a lot of people usually refer to the actors and actresses, so the skill of them become more and more important in a movie.you can see. there are a lot of
ceremonies of actors and actresses around the world each year like Oscar Award and so on..so it become a part of the successful movie should have.

In addition, sometimes the name of a movie is also very important.

Cultural Respect

As everyone knows, One World One Dream. Yes, our world is a very big family which contains more than 2000 races in more than 200 countries and regions. So, certainly there are so many different cultures in the world but mutual respects at the same time.

In my opinion, a culture represents a spirit of the group people. It is like that we live in different regions, eat different kinds of food , speak different languages, so we may consider things in different ways too. I guess that’s how different cultures come.

But we can’t deny that we live on one planet. There is one heaven above all of us. We have the same look in general, no matter what color we are or religion we believe in. So there is always something that can be described by the word Mutual. And respect is one of them.

We used to live in a place which has 46 races. Those 46 races believe in more than 10 different religions. In order to live together peacefully, we must learn to respect all the races. Not having the same beliefs makes us having different life styles of eating, clothes, and so on. I’m a Christian but Fatuma is Muslim as Shower believes in Buddha. There is no problem about the differences among us. We live in one house , take our meals together, we live as we were sisters. Because we know that all the races and religions are respectful. Every cultural has some aspects which are fun and acceptable to copy. And all the religions are respectful.
Because we have the same name, it is Human Being.
When we find differences from other people, they also find differences from us. Think about it, how it feels when you found different and people actually laugh at you for those things you think normal. Of course you are going to be very angry. And angriness always causes fighting; fighting becomes war. But we should remember that no matter how different we are, we have the same forefathers and we are human being. How can we fight with brothers and sisters of our own?

Being wisely, we need to make the world a better place for our children, and our children’s children. So, no war, no fight, no angriness, but respect.

Actually, I am good at sports. you know when I was in middle school,
I have played basketball for a long time, my neighbor was a gym coach.
so my father always let him taught me some sports, at that time
I leant a lot of things about sports.

In my country.I think the most popular sports are basketball and badminton.
but actually.It depends on age.
for students. maybe basketball and badminton are the most popular.
you know, students have to stay at school all day.and when we go home.
the night is coming,so we have no enough time to do some sports after class.
In school I think all of schools have basketball playground and badminton does
not need the special place to play.

That is why these two sports can be the favorite for students.
but It is different from old people.for example,my grandpartents,they both
like jogging with their friends.Apart from jogging.they also like dancing on the
ground.maybe my grandparents can represent a lot of old people in China.
For other adults,you know they have to work hard year after year.so they have
less time to do sports.like my parents,I have not seen them do more exercise.
personally speaking,people should take part in sports and games.sports can kill
a lot of free time and help you bulid a more healthy body.It is good way to resist some
diseases and for ladies it is a good way to lose weight.
It has some differences from the past.

In past, people can do a lot of physical labor.but now more and more people prefer
mental works.because you can see.China is different from other countries.In China,
if you do mental work,you will get more money than people who just do physical labor.
In a word, I think sports and games are the best way to relax and good for us.

A Fairyland

I was born in Urumuqi.
It is located northwest China and It is belong to Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. I think my hometown just like a fairyland.

there are four seasons in my hometown. spring summer autumn and winter. actually,It is a fashion city which has many skyscrapers. our bulidings maybe just smaller than Kuala Lumpur's, but the shape is the same. and when it comes people in my hometown , I would be very happy. you know they are full of enthusiasm and have warm heart.

there are 13 major groups in my hometown and most of them belief Moslem. they do a lot of jobs like worker and farmer an so on.

when the weekends comes, the city will has more energy. children always go to park with their parents. for students it depends. you know Chinese students have to study very hard.sometimes they have to go to school on weekends. but if the can have some fun on weekends, they will choose go to the cinema and karaoke. girls usually go shopping with their friends. for adults they can go anywhere that they want.

my mother told me when she was a yong girl, this city just like a small village.
there were no amusement even more cinemas.they just had one surpermaket in the city center.
but now,you can see there are more and more tall bulidings more trees even more people.

you know Urumuqi is bounded by Russia, so many people go to Urumuqi to do some bussiness.
It also brings a lot of export trade and help people all over the world know more about my hometown.

A wonderful trip

last week, we went to Kuala lumpur.I thought it was a wonderful trip for me,
you know It was the first time I had chance to visit a fantastic construction out of China.

Before we arrived , there were so many imaginations fell of my mind. I guessed I would see some very beautiful buildings and a different city from here. In fact, when I saw the KLCC's lights at night. how I surprise! you know,

I woke up my friends on the bus around me. I still remember at that time all of my feelings only can be expressed by one word " "perfect" I had not seen such a nice building before. "It is perfect" Of course!

After a short rest. My roommates and I went out the hotel with our cameras to look
the KLCC's real face in the morning. we walked to KLCC and stood in front of it. when I raised my head to look the top of KLCC. I felt a little dizzy. you know.It is too tall to see the roof when you were under it.

then we went to Parkson.And I saw a lot of well-known brands that I just have seen on the Internet in China.I was excited again.we took some photos secretly,because you know ,you could not take photo there.we just bought a little clothes.you know ,
It a money-killer place.all the things were expensive even luxurious.

After lunch. we also visited the Empire Tower.

when we would leave Kuala lumpur I told my friends that I would live in here when I grow up.

I don't really know how long I've been here. I think I am used to living here .
actually, this is the first time that I left home so far. and before arriving here
I was not sure what kind of city it is , and these days I don't know more about Malaysia yet. butwhen I got off the airplane I really fell in love with the fresh air , the many trees,and a lot of things.

you know, I like quiet life,and I find this is a wonderful city for me. and the important thing is this is a good city for studying. There are less entertainment.

because of the difference between two cultures you can see may be sometimes our behaviour is so different from the local people. I think the obvious different is the weather in China, we have 4 seasons.
but here ,just summer summer summer ... you know I was born in winter, so I am never afraid of the cold. but sometimes I am afraid of heat. maybe gradually I will be comfortable here.

I am really crazy about the Malay food apart from the Chinese food.
the food here is hot and sometimes sweet.

in a word, I love it .
I will stay here for 3 years.
I'm very happy.
